Can I set my own hours?
Yes. You choose when you're available. Job offers only come through when you're marked active. Go offline any time — no minimum hours, no penalties.
What if I decline a job offer?
No penalty. The offer routes to the next available tech in the area. Declining too many offers in a row may affect your dispatch priority, but there's no fee or suspension for passing on a job.
How quickly do I get paid after a job?
Your payout is processed automatically when you mark a job complete. Standard Stripe transfer timing applies — typically 1–2 business days to your bank account.
Do I need to handle customer billing or disputes?
No. All customer billing runs through Xtermd. If a customer has a billing issue, it's handled by the platform — not you.
Can I work for other companies or run my own clients at the same time?
Yes. Xtermd is not an exclusive arrangement. Use it to fill your schedule alongside your existing clients or other work.
What if a job requires specialty equipment I don't have?
Job offers show the pest type and service before you accept. If it's outside your capability, just decline — no pressure to take a job you can't complete correctly.
