Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. Technicians also provide their Ohio pest control license number.

Service information: When you book a service, we collect your service address, pest type, scheduling preferences, and any special instructions you provide.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers. We retain transaction records including amounts, dates, and status.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Platform, including pages visited, actions taken, device type, browser, and IP address.

Communications: We retain records of messages, notifications, and support communications sent through the Platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To dispatch pest control jobs to available Technicians.
• To process payments and route payouts to Technicians.
• To send booking confirmations, job status updates, and service notifications.
• To verify Technician licenses and maintain platform safety.
• To improve and troubleshoot the Platform.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Between platform users: When a Technician accepts a job, they receive the service address, pest type, and customer contact details necessary to complete the job. Customers receive the assigned Technician's name and contact information.
• Payment processors: We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe's use of your data is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers: If Xtermd is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Notification Preferences

We may contact you by email or SMS about your bookings and account. You can update your notification preferences from your account dashboard at any time. You can opt out of marketing communications without affecting transactional notifications related to active bookings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Transaction records and service history are retained for a minimum of 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
